Dr. Trina Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Trina Nguyen brings warmth, humor, and over 20 years of expertise to Desert Palms Dental. The youngest of eight siblings, she grew up in a lively household and was known for her mischievous spirit. Dr. Nguyen has a deep appreciation for nature, even if her attempts at plant care have been a bit unpredictable—just ask her about the cacti! Outside the clinic, she embraces the outdoors with activities like hiking, kayaking, skiing, canyoneering, and camping. At home, she stays busy with her two sons: one dreams of following her into dentistry, while the other steers clear of both teeth and the mountains.

Dr. Nguyen and her sons have been actively involved with local dental outreaches in Las Vegas.  Moreover, they also join the Social Assistance Program for Vietnam (SAP-VN), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged individuals in Vietnam.  Each summer, they participate in SAP-VN 's Free Mobile Health Care program, which provides essential medical, dental, optometry, and pharmacy services to residents in remote regions of Vietnam.  Their mission of offering direct relief to those in need, particularly orphans and individuals with disabilities, focusing on healthcare, education, and social welfare.

Dr. Nguyen earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2002 and began practicing in Las Vegas that same year. In 2005, she founded Desert Palms Dental, where she focuses on delivering exceptional cosmetic dentistry. With advanced training from prestigious institutions in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to crafting beautiful, confident smiles through her meticulous care and expertise.
